The new St. Joseph's Hospital encompasses a total of approximately 180,000 square feet (SF):

Garden Level: 55,644 SF

First Floor: 64,129 SF

Second Floor: 32,473 SF

Third Floor: 27,954 SF

Total gross volume: 2,945,786 cubic feet. If filled with water, it would be equal to 22,036,010 gallons.

The hospital contains 10,000 cubic yards of concrete, or the equivalent of 1,250 truckloads. That's enough to pave a five-foot sidewalk, 25 miles long.

Approximately 23,000 sheets of drywall were used, enough to cover 21 acres.

An estimated 22,500 gallons of paint were used (one primer and two finish coats).

To prepare the building site, 450,000 cubic yards of earth was removed.

One by one, bricks and block were laid. A total of 195,000 bricks and 25,000 blocks were used.

More than 1,100 tons of structural steel went into the facility...2,200,000 lbs.

The new hospital includes 730 doors and more than 11,000 SF of glass.
